Deceuninck-Quick-Step's CEO Patrick Lefevere has shown his optimism for the new year and season.

At the end of the unusual 2020 season, the Belgian formation was the team that achieved more victories as 15 different riders scored 39 victories in 12 countries, which completed a total of 800 wins in the history of the team. The most impressive was Julian Alaphilippe's win at the World Championships in Imola, Italy.

"Unlike other years, there have been just a few changes in our roster and this makes me happy, as in our 30-man squad we possess the right combination of experienced riders who can take on the responsibility and live up to the very high expectations and pressure, and young and promising talents who improve continuously and have the desire of helping the team whenever possible," said Lefevere.

"We hope 2021 will be a much better year, not just for us, but for the entire world, and that life as we know it will get back to normal. We miss our fans, we miss interacting with people, but if we continue to do the right thing, I am confident it will happen soon. Concerning us, we start with the same enthusiasm, ambition and determination that have brought and kept the Wolfpack in the elite, hoping to entertain you and deliver many other unforgettable moments on the road."
