Deceuninck-Quick-Step is ready for the restart of the WorldTour calendar, Strade Bianche. The Belgian team will start with two former winners of the race: Julian Alaphilippe and Zdenek Stybar.

The also knowns as the "Sixth Monument" will be 184 kilometres long, featuring a route that includes 63 kilometres of gravel roads divided in eleven sectors that will test the riders handling skills and climbing ability.

The 2020 edition of the race will be later in the year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but promises to offer the same pintoresque landscapes of Tuscany and the challenges of the past editions. The winner of the race will claim his victory in the beautiful Piazza del Campo of Siena.

"We've had many good results here in the past, three wins with as many different riders, and we want to be again up there and feature in the fight for victory, especially as it is a race we like a lot," said sports director Davide Bramati.

"It's going to be a completely different race than we are used to, with temperatures of 35 degrees and even more dust than usual, but we are going there with a huge motivation after our excellent Val di Fassa training camp and prepared for every type of scenario."

Deceuninck-Quick-Step's roster for Strade Biancghe (August 1):

Julian Alaphilippe
Kasper Asgreen
Davide Ballerini
Mikkel Honoré
Bob Jungels
Pieter Serry
Zdenek Stybar
