Former cyclist and multiple Grand Tour winner Alberto Contador is filling his lockdown time in Spain by doing training with his fans every day.

Just hours after the Spanish government declared the lockdown in Spain to avoid the further spreading from the coronavirus, Contador did a training session from his home and broadcast it in Instagram. The idea of the rider was to inspire amateur cyclists and fans to train along with him.

The rider -who won the Tour de France, the Vuelta a España and the Giro d'Italia- was joined by thousands of fans, who thanked him for doing a training session a lot more entertaining. This is why Contador decided to do this every day -for now- at 1900 CET and with the hashtag #YoEntrenoConContador.

Other athletes and sports people like the physiotherapist Marc Roig -who trains and works with long distance runner Eliud Kipchoge- does training sessions every day at 1600 CET from his house in Kenya to help runners to achieve their goals despite the coronavirus crisis.
