Israel Cycling Academy has announced that it will ride Factor Bikes from 2020.

The Israeli team will take a step to the WorldTour in 2020 and Factor will be providing the bikes for it. Israel Cycling Academy rode with De Rosa bikes for the last two seasons.

"It is fantastic to see our riders racing to new heights on their superior bikes in the World Tour next year," said Sylvan Adams, co-owner of the formation. The team will ride on Factor O2 VAM bikes for climbing, "fastest aero road bike ever tested in wind tunnels and on the road," as Factor describes it.

Kjell Carlström, manager of Israel Cycling Academy, thinks that the team and the bike manufacturer make a good match. "We also share the same ideas regarding developing the bikes further," he said. "Factor has convinced in the past of being a great bike, and with the dedication of the company and Gitelis to continue to improve, we believe that the performance will be up there with the best. Therefore I am excited about the collaboration we will have."

Factor Bikes owner Rob Gitelis is excited about returning to the highest tier of professional cycling -where the manufacturer was in 2017 with AG2R La Mondiale. "It is exciting as we make our return with a great partner in Israel Cycling Academy to the WorldTour," he explained.

"Israel Cycling Academy and Factor share ambitions to compete on the world stage. The team has been on an incredible journey, and we are excited to be part of it."
