Astana Women's team is set to start at the Festival Elsy Jacobs with a strong team that will aim to extend the formation's success from 2018.

In the past edition of the race, Letizia Paternoster got the final victory of the race beating Christine Majerus by only one second. The Festival Elsy Jacobs will start with a 2.7-kilometre prologue in Garnich on the 10th of May. The first stage will be 107.1 kilometres long, with a start and finish in Steinfort, and will take the peloton over a rolling route that will feature three classified climbs.

The last day of the 2.1. race will be 111.1 kilometres long and will be over a rolling course that has a downhill stretch at the last three kilometres and a small climb before the finish line in Garnich.

Astana will take to the race a roster that includes riders that are strong for long attacks. The leader will be the experienced Olga Shekel and she will have the support of a young but motivated roster that will try to take the most out of every opportunity that the race offers.

Astana's line-up for the Festival Elsy Jacobs (10th to 12th of May):

Olga Shekel
Elena Pirrone
Amiliya Iskakova
