Jempy Drucker has broken his collarbone during a training ride. The rider has undergone surgery and he is on his way to recovery.

The Luxembourgian finished the year going under the knife. He announced through social media that he suffered a fall that ended up on a broken collarbone.

Drucker already underwent surgery to fix the fracture and commented that everything was successful. He will now spend the rest of the year and the beginning of 2019 recovering to come back to the saddle as soon as possible.

The rider just left BMC Racing Team after four seasons and signed a contract with Bora-hansgrohe until the end of 2020.
