Erica Magnaldi has signed a contract with WNT-Rotor Pro Cycling for the 2019 season. The Italian makes the move after spending one year at Bepink.

The 26-year-old had an outstanding season in 2018 that included a stage win at the Tour Cycliste Feminin International de l'Ardeche and top-ten positions in races like the Amgen Tour of California, the Tour of Yorkshire and La Course, as well as the 13th position at the Giro Rosa.

"It’s an exciting new prospect for me to join the team, I’m looking forward to a new environment, and working alongside a standout group of riders," commented the Italian as a reaction to the news.

Claude Sun, Cutting Tools Europe managing director, welcomed the news of Magnaldi's signing. "Erica has shown her talent and promise throughout the season, and we kept a close eye on her, we are really excited about working together next year," he said.

The Italian joins a promising roster for the 2019 season that includes Lisa Brennauer, Kirsten Wild, Ane Santesteban, Aafke Soet, Lin Teutenberg, Clara Koppenburg, Laura Asencio, Anna Badegruber, Kathrin Hammes, Gabrielle Pilote Fortin and Sarah Rijkes.
