ONE Pro Cycling has announced that it will drop the men's continental team for 2019 to focus on the creation of a women's team.

The British formation was created in 2015 and in 2016 it became Professional Continental. Due to money problems, it had to go to a continental level and now it has announced its finish as a men's team.

"We see the opportunity within the women’s side of the sport and this is something that is very exciting. Our existing partners have been notified and the change of direction has been met with great positivity."

The men's team will be completely over by the end of September and all the efforts will be focused on the women's formation. "ONE PRO Cycling has always been about effecting positive change in the sport of cycling that goes far beyond winning bike races. We believe that the greatest opportunity to do this now lies within the women’s side of the sport and our passion and ambition has only increased to make this change of direction a success."
