Team Delko Marseille-Provence KTM has reacted to the announcement of the UCI about the adverse analytical finding of the team's rider Remy Di Gregorio.

The cycling governing body informed that darbepoetin was found in a sample of the rider taken on March 8 of 2018 at Paris-Nice, in which he finished in the 22nd position of the overall classification.

"I am appalled and would feel deeply betrayed if the sample B analysis confirms the finding," said team manager Frederic Rostaing. "I am angry and sad, but this is not all - this fundamentally calls into question the investment in our project started 20 years ago, with the ethical values at its core.

"We will be taking stock after the Flèche Wallonne with our partners."

Di Gregorio has been immediately suspended by the team as a precautionary measure and he has the right to request the analysis of the B sample.
