The Tour de Yorkshire has announced the teams that will take part in its 2018 edition. 20 teams will take part in the fourth edition of the race.

In 2018, the British race will pass from three to four days of competition in which 6 WorldTour teams, 7 professional continentals, 6 continental and 1 National selection will fight for the victory.

WorldTour teams: Astana Pro Team, BMC Racing Team, Dimension Data, Katusha-Alpecin, Team Sky and Team Sunweb.

Professional Continental: Aqua Blue Sport, Cofidis, Direct Energie, Roompot-Nederlandse Loterij, Euskadi Basque Country-Murias, Rally Cycling and Vital Concept.

Continental teams: Canyon Eisberg, Holdsworth Pro Racing, JLT Condor, Madison Genesis Team, One Pro Cycling and Vitus Pro Cycling.

National team: Great Britain.

The organisation of the race also announced the 20 teams that will take part in the Asda Tour de Yorkshire Women's Race (3-4 May).

Those teams are: Ale Cipollini, Bepink, Boels Dolmans Cycling Team, Boompods EDCO NRG, Canyon // Sram Racing, Trek Drops, Experza-Footlogix, FDJ Nouvelle Aquitaine Futuroscope, Hitec Products-Birk Sport, Sport Doltcini-Van Eyck Sport, Movistar, Torelli-Brother, Parkhotel Valkenburg, Storey Racing, Great Britain National Team, Team OnForm, Sunweb, Jadan Weldtite, Wiggle High5 and WNT Rotor Pro Cycling Team.
