The French Cycling Federation and the National League of Cycling have almost reached an agreement to give an opportunity to the riders of the now defunct Armee de Terre team.

The team's disappearance was announced on November of 2017 (Read more:

French newspaper l'Equipe reports that Michel Callot, president of the French Federation, and Marc Madiot, president of the National League, met with the Minister of Armed Forces, Florence Parly to try to fix the situation of the riders.

The three parties reportedly came to the agreement that several amateur and continental teams will recruit the former riders of the formation and the Armed Forces will continue paying for their salaries. This way, the federation will have more than a dozen high-level sports contracts funded by the ministry.
