The Tour de France, Paris-Nice and the Criterium du Dauphine have announced the wild cards for their 2018 editions.

Being WorldTour races, every team at the highest level of the sport will participate and with them, four ProContinental teams have been selected to take part.

The Tour de France has invited three French and one Belgian team. Cofidis, Direct Energie, Fortuneo-Samsic and Wanty-Groupe Gobert are starting in the 105th edition of the race, which means that Warren Barguil could be back after his good performance of 2017, in which he took the Polka-Dot jersey.

Despite last week's plea by Bryan Coquard to the organisation of the Tour de France to give his new team Vital Concept the chance to take part in the race, it has instead favoured the Belgian team.

The 76th edition of Paris-Nice granted wild cards to four French teams. Cofidis, Delko Marseille Provence KTM, Direct Energie and Fortuneo Samsic will start in the race that is set to take place between the 4th and the 11th of March.

The Criterium du Dauphine will have the participation of the ProContinental teams Cofidis, Fortuneo-Samsic, Vital Concept and Wanty-Groupe Gobert.
