Magnus Cort Nielsen has suffered a crash during training. Astana, the new team of the rider, broke the news of this accident on social media.

The Dane, who has signed with the Kazakh team for the next two seasons, had a crash during an off-season ride and suffered a broken collarbone. "Unfortunately, Astana 2018 newcomer Magnus Cort Nielsen crashed during a training and broke his collarbone. We wish him a very fast recovery. Get well soon, Magnus, we are waiting for you!," read the Twitter message of Astana.

Cort Nielsen made the move to the Kazakh team after five years at Orica-Scott for which he took stage victories in races like the Vuelta a España and the Tour of Denmark, and the second position in the 2017 RideLondon-Surrey Classic.
