The Argentinean Vuelta a San Juan will have the participation of seven WorldTour teams and has confirmed the participation of some of the most prominent riders of the peloton.

As was previously announced, seven WorldTour teams, five ProContinental, seven National Selections and seven continental teams will take part in the 2.1. race.

Now it was confirmed by the organisation that riders like Vincenzo Nibali (Bahrain-Merida), Rafal Majka (Bora-hansgrohe) and Fernando Gaviria (Quick-Step Floors) will be taking part.

The Colombian rider took the victory at two stages of the 2017 edition of the race and the Italian scored a top 10 spot in the General Classification.

It is still unknown whether last year's champion Bauke Mollema of Trek-Segafredo will start his 2018 season in Argentina.
