CCC Sprandi Polkowice extends contracts of six riders

Polish Professional Continental team CCC Sprandi Polkowice has confirmed the contract extensions of no less than six riders.

Lukasz Owsian and Polish champion Adrian Kurek have agreed new terms after having represented the team for the last six and five years respectively.

The other four riders, Michal Paluta, Kamil Malecki, Patryk Stosz and Jonas Koch are set to continue their development at the orange formation.

"We are very excited that these guys will stay with us next season," said sports director Piotr Wadecki.

"Lukasz Owsian and Adrian Kurek have been racing for our team for 6 and 5 years respectively. They are true professionals and we know that we can always count on them.

The other four riders are still very young and they all have developed a lot in the recent years. Especially Kamil Ma?ecki who signed with us after his last season as a junior and we helped him take his first steps in professional cycling. His progress has been outstanding and now, as a 21-year old, he claimed some good results in elite and U23 category."

The team is still in negotiations with several other riders ahead of the 2018 season.
