Dylan Teuns (BMC) has won the last stage of the Arctic Race of Norway. By doing so, the Belgian also confirmed his overall victory.

The last stage of the Norwegian race was 160.5 kilometres look and took place on a circuit in and around the city of Tromsø. The profile of the day featured three climbs of the second category.

The stage started with the escape of Bernhard Eisel (Dimension Data), Tony Hurel (Direct Energie), Kenny Molly (Fortuneo Oscaro) , Dimitri Claeys (Cofidis), Ludvik Holstad (Team Sparebanken Sor), Pavel Brutt (Gazprom Rusvelo) and Jon Breivold (Team FixIT.no). This group formed a gap of more than five minutes with the pack.

As the kilometres passed, the front group got smaller until only Eisel and Claeys remained. During the last lap, and as Claeys was the only remaining member of the original breakaway, he was joined by his teammate Loic Chetout, Andrei Grivko (Astana), Sven Erik Bystrom (Katusha-Alpecin), Rasmus Fossum Tiller (Team Joker), Sebastien Delfosse (WB-Veranclassic Aquality Protect) and Leszek Plucinsky (CCC).

At three kilometres to go, this escape group was also caught as leader Dylan Teuns (BMC) attacked and the pack couldn't do anything to catch him back. The rider crossed the finish line solo and confirmed his good shape by not only taking the stage but winning the entire race.
